The Cyber Security Department prepares specialists in protecting systems, networks, and data from cyber threats in a way that keeps pace with rapid technical development and responds to institutional demand for information security.

Head of the Cyber Security Department at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology.

Vision

To be a leading department in information security and cyberspace by preparing qualified specialists who can protect digital infrastructure, support scientific research, and provide technical consultation in the field as a service to society.

Mission

To prepare qualified cyber security specialists capable of securing systems, networks, and data, discovering vulnerabilities, and responding to cyber attacks in ways that meet the needs of government institutions and the private sector in information security.

Department Goals

  • Graduate specialists in protecting systems and networks who can design security solutions, analyze risks, and respond to cyber incidents.
  • Keep pace with the latest technologies and international standards in cyber security and information security, while updating curricula in line with labor market needs.
  • Support scientific research in cryptography, network security, and digital forensics while building a strong academic research base.
  • Organize seminars, workshops, and practical training in cooperation with government institutions and the private sector to raise cyber-security awareness.
  • Provide technical consultation in information security and the protection of critical infrastructure.
