
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organizes a scientific symposium on the social and administrative empowerment of Iraqi women.

Under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College, Dr. Saif Al-Saidi, the Women’s Affairs Unit in the College of Computer Science, in cooperation with Continuing Education, held a scientific symposium titled “The Social and Administrative Empowerment of Iraqi Women.” This is one of the key points of the National Strategic Plan for Iraqi Women. The symposium, delivered by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Hussein Khudr, aimed to highlight the importance of women’s participation in executive and legislative positions. The symposium emphasized the importance of women’s participation and leadership in significant committees that contribute to development. It also discussed the importance of legislating and implementing laws to protect women and ensure their rights. In conclusion, the symposium discussed ways to socially empower women and the priorities of providing support to women in the fields of education and other areas.
