
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology held a seminar on electrical energy consumption and emphasized the importance of cleanliness and environmental preservation.

Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Computer Science, Dr. Saif Al-Saidi, the Women’s Affairs Unit organized an awareness seminar on one of the standards of the national initiative to support energy and reduce emissions, titled “Electrical Energy Consumption and Emphasis on Cleanliness and Environmental Preservation.” The seminar covered several topics, starting with simple methods that families and mothers can apply at home, as well as in workplaces, to reduce energy consumption. The second topic focused on environmental preservation and cleanliness. The seminar also defined the types of emissions, explained the dangers of emissions and their impact on the environment, and discussed some appropriate solutions. It encouraged the use of renewable energy, including solar energy, which aims to benefit from solar power while maintaining safety for the community and the environment.
