The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a scientific symposium on climate change and the sustainability of natural resources.

The symposium, titled “Climate Change and Sustainability of Natural Resources,” was held as part of the Sustainable Development Program in Iraqi universities. The symposium, presented by Mr. Hassanein Ali and Ms. Maryam Jawad, addressed two main axes: the first axis focused on climate change and sustainable development, while the second axis discussed international efforts in natural resource sustainability. The symposium recommended enhancing the role of civil society organizations in natural resource sustainability, strengthening policies and strategies based on scientific knowledge to protect the environment, and fostering strong and effective coordination between the government and private sectors to address the challenges of climate change.
