
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a lecture titled “The Iraqi State Employees Discipline Law and its Role in Reducing Job Violations Leading to Administrative and Financial Corruption”

attended by the administrative assistant Mr. Hussein Khudair, faculty members, and staff. The lecture, delivered by Assistant Professor Ahmed Abdul Zaid Al-Shammari from the College of Law, aimed to enhance integrity and accountability among state employees. This law comes within the framework of efforts to combat administrative and financial corruption, which poses a major challenge to the development of public administration in Iraq. The lecture addressed the role of public service laws in combating financial and administrative corruption, emphasizing the importance of employees’ awareness of their duties, obligations, and the prohibitions outlined in the Iraqi State Employees Discipline Law to avoid committing job violations. The Discipline Law for State Employees in Iraq represents an important step towards building more transparent and accountable government institutions, reflecting the government’s commitment to combating corruption and achieving sustainable development in the country.
