The course, led by Dr. Ali Fahim, head of the Computer Science department, Dr. Sarij Rizooqi Abbas, and Associate Professor Ismail Abbas Manhil from the College of Management and Economics, Accounting Department, along with Mr. Sajjad AbdulMajeed, Director of Control and Audit at Wasit University, aimed to promote the use of modern systems in accounting and financial management. It covered understanding modern technology, analytical methods, and advanced software to facilitate decision-making processes, save time, and reduce effort for employees through the use of modern accounting programs. The course extensively addressed internal control systems, auditing controls for final expenditures and revenues, as well as controls for auditing intermediary accounts such as loans and trusts. It also delved into auditing controls for fixed assets and inventory. This course sheds light on detailed knowledge about internal control systems and the controls applied in auditing final expenditures and revenues.
