The Head of the Computer Department at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology received a delegation from Sumer University.

As part of the collaboration between corresponding colleges, the Head of the Computer Department at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Wasit University, Professor Ali Fahim Al-Yasiri, received a delegation from Sumer University led by the esteemed Head of the Computer Department, Dr. Ahmed Diaa Pasha, along with a group of distinguished professors from the university.

This meeting took place within the framework of cooperation between Iraqi universities and regional and international universities, in the presence of several members of the college council and faculty members. At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of the Department welcomed Dr. Ahmed Diaa, expressing the readiness of the college and university to open avenues for scientific cooperation and the benefits of such collaboration in engaging with renowned universities.

In conclusion, the Sumer University delegation expressed their gratitude to the Head of the Department for the warm reception and hospitality, and for the sincere intentions to collaborate between the two universities. The parties discussed enhancing scientific relations, activating scientific conferences, intellectual seminars, and workshops that serve the institution and the community, in accordance with the directives and visions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The Head of the Department accompanied the visiting delegation on a tour of the college’s corridors and laboratories.
