under the patronage of Professor Mazen Al-Hasani, the university president, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Saif Al-Saadi, the respected dean of the college, and with the oversight of Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Al-Yasiri, the respected head of the Computer Science Department. The festival was held at Wasit University to celebrate the birth of the awaited Imam Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance). The festival began with a recitation of the Quran followed by a speech from the university president, who spoke about the importance of celebrating this blessed occasion and extended congratulations to the students and staff, thanking them for organizing such festivals. The dean of the college, Saif Ali Abdulredha Al Saadi, spoke about the significance of these celebrations as a renewal of commitment and promise to bring joy to our awaited Imam, as well as a commemoration of the fatwa of victory and its champion, Ayatollah Al-Sistani (may Allah protect him), and the role of the heroes of the fatwa in achieving victory. He urged students to honor those martyrs and to take pride in them. He also highlighted the importance of initiatives carried out by departments in commemorating such occasions. On the other hand, Dr. Ali Hamadi delivered a lecture on Imam Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance) and his presence in other religions and the principle of their beliefs. Additionally, there were contributions from several poets and singers who performed in commemoration of the blessed birth.
