The College of Computer Science and Information Technology conducted a workshop on “Crafting the Research Problem” for graduate students.

The workshop, led by Professor Dr. Diaa Shahid Al-Azzawi, aimed to define the concept of the research problem, address challenges students face during the research writing phase, and instill a systematic scientific approach to fostering an interest in research. The workshop covered several key points, with the first focusing on the concept of the research problem, the second on documenting the problem in scientific research methodology, and the third on defining the scientific methodology for choosing research titles and topics, considering essential considerations. The workshop also discussed how to determine scientific and practical significance (practical and applied aspects), identify research models and hypotheses, and prepare the theoretical framework, as well as the guidelines and criteria for preparing surveys.
