
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a workshop on the evaluation system of teaching staff and its implications in the academic field.

The workshop was attended by the Assistant Dean, Dr. Saif Ali Al-Saadi, academic and administrative assistants, heads of departments, faculty members, and staff. The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department conducted a workshop on the annual performance evaluation system for the college’s staff. Dr. Haider Majid Hassan, the head of the Quality Assurance Council in the College of Engineering, was the lecturer of the workshop. The workshop covered various topics, including updating personal and academic data, evaluating research, workshops, seminars, and conferences conducted by faculty members throughout the academic year. It also discussed updating personal and administrative activities and achievements during the evaluation year, filling out the evaluation form electronically and on paper, and calculating grades for all academic levels. Additionally, the workshop explained how to calculate authored books, scientific research, and areas of academic strength. At the end of the workshop, the dean praised all the efforts made to enhance the college’s performance, contributing to the advancement and prosperity of education and the university.
