During the field visit, Dr. Mazen Hassan Al-Hassani, the President of Wasit University, accompanied by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Sabih Lafta Al-Zubaidi, met with the College Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Sinan Adnan Al-Shammari, to learn about the latest scientific and practical achievements of the college. The purpose of this visit was to gain insights into the operation of the “Master Sheet” program, which is one of the most advanced global systems currently in use. The College of Computer Science and Information Technology is the only college in Iraqi universities that uses this system, particularly for managing examination committees and registration. This system is considered one of the most complex and sophisticated software systems in the educational sector. It meticulously documents and automates all aspects of a student’s academic journey, from admission to graduation and the issuance of academic transcripts. The “Master Sheet” program for managing examination committees and registration will address various complexities related to implementing different decisions and regulations issued by administrative authorities within the ministry and universities. It aims to organize the academic status of students, including matters like transfers, credit transfers, fulfillment of requirements, and more, while preventing errors that may result from manual processes. The University President commended the efforts of the College Dean and the consulting office responsible for implementing and operating this system. After reviewing the program’s details, he expressed his continuous support for such initiatives, recognizing their contribution to the advancement of the colleges and the university as a whole.
